Let's go Cafe Hopping Date: Dungun ed.

As promised in the previous post, it's time for our cafe date! I meant dates... xD There were some accidental cafes we walked into, without actually planning it ahead haha. Now, are you ready for them?

+ AURORA COFFEE HOUSE 🖤🖤🖤🖤♡

The food, ambiance, and aesthetic were good except that we didn't make it for its Nasi Goreng Ikan :( Mom said it's popular in Terengganu so I guess that's why it's selling fast. Parking was okay for us, too maybe we're quite lucky to get a slot just right in front of the cafe instead of parking at the roadside. Dad said "It's worth the money!".

The menu we had > Laksa Kuah Putih (cause lil bro had laksam at the hotel already and he's actually the one who wanted Nasi Goreng Ikan), Mee Kari Sambal Kerang, Hot Hazelnut Latte, Iced Chocolate, Iced Strawberry Matcha, Iced Biscoff (something with it but I can't remember), Egg Tart, Volcano Brownies, Lopat Tikam, Koleh Kacang, Sardine Puff and a set of Cannoli to to go

.lol the belacan they gave for laksa, my lil bro thought it was gula melaka.

+ AUSEMIST COFFEE CAFE 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Not sure about the main meals cause we only had roti bakar there for dessert (more) haha right after Aurora. The roti has improved from what I can see from the reviews cause we got a good amount of spread sandwiched in between a nicely grilled Hainan toast. This was one of the accidental cafes I mentioned. We saw it on the way to Aurora, and I decided to check what they offer, one of them is Roti Bakar so we made a stop. Also to tapau a dinner for dad, unfortunately, the Nasi Minyak is not an all-day breakfast menu.

What we had > Roti Bakar Nutella, Roti Bakar Kaya, Iced Pecan Latte (gosh, I don't really remember, not mine oops haha), Iced Chocolate (this one there's something else in it but again I can't remember what's it,,, nuts? coconut? haha but Iced something Chocolate), plain water cause too much sweet intakes already and a tapau-ed Grilled Lamb Fried Rice.

+ KOPI KUALA 🖤🖤🖤🖤♡

This was a good place for breakfast! Why? We obviously had breakfast there, lol before heading to Kuantan. This is the one I stated in the previous post about having breakfast at a cafe. The vibe and the aesthetic match the food and the deco! A classic one. Made me finally eat nasi in the morning xD well, it's about 1100 so it's fine, and the nasi was in a small amount only, perfect for people like me who love to taste~ Half love down as my sister said the coffee taste a bit cheap.

The breakfast we had > Nasi Lemak Ikan, Bihun Soto, Sate Ayam, Roti Bakar (for mom and dad cause they'd eaten breakfast at the hotel), Twisted Donut, Hazelnut Latte, Iced Salted Caramel Latte, Iced Shortbread Cookies Latte and Plain Water

+ DAEBAK CHICKENG 🖤🖤🖤♡

Another accidental cafe placed alongside Kaki Lima that had no light snacks to tapau, so we gave this a try. It tastes quite okay, but do not eat it in expectation of having real Korean chicken. It was indeed just chickeng. It's good for a normal fried chicken with sauce but not as K-type. Btw, this is not really related to the score given, but they spelled chicken in Korean wrongly. 👀🙊 instead of ㅋ(k), they used ㄱ(g)... and usually K peeps say chikin... so you know what it turns out as right?

.bought signature boneless chicken, corn cheese, fries, banana and strawberry milk.

+ KAKI LIMA DUNGUN ❔

Can't rate it, just a bonus slot. We wanted to get something from here but there's nothing light to have on the road (we went on the way to Kuantan). Their pastries or dessert display was still empty at 1200? It's best to dine in here in the evening for dinner cause it's like Me'nate~ So, next time maybe we shall date here~

+ MARION CAFE 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Another bonus cafe since it's not the one in Dungun anymore, but we went during the trip. The infamous French Cafe in Cherating, set in a mini shop lot. You really better order online and just pick it up at the store as by the time I reached it, the display chiller was empty and the storage chiller behind the counter at the corner was the one full of packed-in-bag desserts ready to be picked up. Luckily, I did the same, to order earlier online.

.not sure of the taste myself because among all these desserts bought, none were mine haha.
.but I guess they were fine cause mom didn't really say anything.

Desserts bought > Crème Brulée, Chocolate Éclair, Lemon Meringue Tart, Walnut Tart, Dolce Tart, Kaya Cheesecake 

psst: the other two sliced cakes in the photo together with Marion's are from Kopi Kuala (Ovalmaltine and Pandan Cake)

Wow, we went to quite a lot of cafes in a short time~ Have you been to any of these cafes? And which one is it? How do you like them? Do lemme know if you have any other great cafes around~ 

Oh btw, what I noticed from all the cafes I went to or searched, is they somehow have the same desserts. One of them was the twisted donut or the cannoli... hehe. maybe can buy from each place and compare which one's better?
