A tranquil stay of early spring~

Calm, serene, peaceful, and enjoyable are what describe the stay we had in mid of last month~

It's quite an overdue post cause I was thinking about how and what to write here. With all the photos that reached hundreds as always and the things we did but I'm gonna make it short here (really?) haha. Won't release all the photos but maybe just highlighted ones!

First things first... hello and welcome back! Hope you gonna enjoy this post and feel the tranquility of our stay as well.

WHERE?
+ Tanjong Jara Resort (Room tour: this was from our previous stay last August and we booked the same two rooms again only this time it's interconnected unlike previously shown in the video)

HOW LONG?
+ 4 days 3 nights

ACTIVITIES?
+ Quite the same as Mangala Resort but there are actually more here (Scroll through to the second part for the activities we did last stay and I'll casually write some that we did this time in this post).

Now... let's get to it!
DAY I
Reached the place in the late afternoon, checked in then had a really short break before strolling around for an evening walk around the resort... also, booked spa appointments directly at the spa and continue the stroll. Had dinner at Atas Sungei Restaurant and had a little celebration~

.my cute laeeb tee that I said when purchased to wear it to here and I did hehe.
/\ the behind-the-scene haha \/

Actually, we only asked for them to write wishes on the dessert's plate but again, we ourselves got tricked when the staff gathered and then came to turn off the nearby fan to sing a Happy Birthday song to mom. haha. The same thing happened for dad's day in Janvier. So, this time when I saw one of the staff turned off the fan I told my sister if it was like what happened before and it was! xD

Ended the day with Wakanda Forever~

DAY II
Planned to go watch the sunrise but it was raining so definitely canceled. Got up for breakfast and we really took our time and just chill. Even so, I can't put a lot of food in my stomach that early so just had some salad and pastries~

Strolling around again, lil bro gave some food to the fish (they prepared the food in a bamboo tube for the guests to feed them in the pond beside the lobby). Took our books to be read at the pavilion by the beach accompanied by the sound of waves crashing is such a scene, to be honest, haha. Nowadays, this was what  people would call healing~ xD
/\ this book suits the place /\
The time clocked to 1020 something and we head towards the pool at the other end for my dad, sister, and lil bro wants to swim while waiting for my mom and I having a simple beading workshop in the same area~

We then went for some cafe hopping in the town... well, I'll write a separate post about the cafes! Do anticipate it, alright? 😉

Came back quite full with some takeaway snacks to be eaten for dinner. Basically, no dinner but we brought back some just in case for munching while watching movies hehe. Oh, I must have missed telling you guys that before we went to the cafes, we went to get some roti paung first! xD

After some rest, continued our activities of sport. Read some books by the beach again then to the tennis (brought our own rackets that we used in Jakarta's school and finally use them again) and gym we go~ The second day also ended with movie time and two movies somemore.

DAY III
You know what's the first thing we did~ Yes, of course, breakfast comes first haha. It has now become a routine for us to chill by the beach to read books and so that's what we did afterward before spa time. The spa session lasts for an 80mins each then we need to let the oil seep through the skin nicely for an hour. So, for the second day, we mostly spent our time here.

But, we were visited by a very unexpected guest at the door of our room! It was fascinating yet traumatising if you asked. 🤣 The guest was a peacock! We felt like in a safari lol~
.reading books club?.
.dad asked for this view.
.a lil note for our masseurs.
Here's how it goes... we were just reading on the balcony in front of our room cause the housekeeping was cleaning inside so to clear the way we sat outside. Saw a peacock at the room next to ours but then suddenly there were two other kids calling it which made it jump down and in a flash up to ours! We weren't the ones calling but hmmm... My sister was recording and stopped then quickly ran into the room haha and I followed a few seconds after~

Taking photos from inside the room and admiring it from up close then it suddenly decided to jump and kicked the door. Tuck! Woah, that really shocked us. Not sure, why and what happened but maybe there's a reflection of itself in the glass door so... cause even when we were standing hidden behind the wooden door (the door was doubled with glass and wooden layer) but still it jumped and kicked a few times more. After that, we decided to go for a swim again but the peacock was still there roaming around the area. We walked away quickly without looking at it, at all. My sister even said the room next door (it went back to that room) was scared of how to go into their room~

This reminds me of Avilion. No wonder, their peacocks were caged but I think some were outside, too if I'm not mistaken? Cause I stayed there a long time ago and didn't really take photos of it (were busy with uni assignments hee).

Dining at their restaurant again for the last night, strolled around and took photos after, to get the food digested properly and enjoyed the resort's night view. It was such a deceiving night with a lot of stars above us shining down.

psst: every time there're a lot of stars, I'd say it's such a deceiving night cause that was what they said in Titanic. The sky full of stars made illusions to the sea was one of the reasons for the Titanic incident. I meant that was from the movie, ok? hehe

DAY IV
No breakfast for my sister, lil bro, and me... We need more sleep haha but arghhh, we don't wanna leave here... it's the last day... did nothing and just finish packings and wait for check-out time. One thing we didn't mind not going for breakfast was cause we'll be doing another lil cafe hopping in the town before heading back to KL.

Don't worry, you'll know what are the cafes in the next post! Wait for it~

Wai...t... no, we're not going back to KL just yet. We had a pit stop at Zenith, Kuantan for a night just to eat some ikan bakar but luck wasn't on our side that day. It was closed :( Would have made a 2-nights pit stop, too if Royale Chulan Villa wasn't fully booked tho~ we only passed by it when we stopped at Marion xD. Next time then~

.with the wittiest chef of the resort.
.no me in this photo cause i already buckled up in the ride haha.

That's all for this post. We're back home on DAY V and we just had dinner at Mitsui. I'm not sure if this is short or not (yeah, I also think it's not haha) but nonetheless hope you do enjoy my writing this time. Promise you'll come back for our Cafes post date, ok~ See you...
