Hello lovelies, we're finally meeting again after months... and it's also already a new year~ apologise for lack of writings here recently since I've been more active here and it feels like a mini blog there for me. Hence, I'll be writing here for the main and big ones only for now or as I see fit :) sometimes, I even take the ones from here to post in Lemon8, lol, so yeah... ૮ ․ ․ ྀིა

Okay, that first paragraph was the one I said I drafted before THIS post haha... I don't wanna change it cause I still feel it's good as it is~ so, let's just continue on, alright! ⸜(｡˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡

Why did it take me so long to write about this one? Cause I'm still galau... the photos made me so, specifically to say~ honestly, up till now, I still haven't really figured out how many photos or what to write based on the photos lol... so, let's just see and go along with me on how they'll be put up here

I'll go by the days then! Just a warm warning (instead of reminder haha), this would be a tad bit long post with all the incoming photossssss~

Before we start with the days of eating spree, let's first give some way to our official family portraits of five this year~

FIRST EID: makan-makan at our lil EID homecafe (why homecafe? you'll know soon ◕⩊◕)

Truthfully, we were so relieved and glad to hear the announcement for the raya date since we were so packed with preparing the goodies and spread and cleaning haha... this year, my second unnie and I really felt the meme about the singles who stayed at the parents' that needed to do all the Eid stuffs (having war in the kitchen cause no one else was home as the year before) haha I meant, we don't mind, it was just funny and so relatable

The morning was okay but still made us got no time to take any family photos on the day itself, luckily, we had done self photoshoot a week before cause we know something like this might happen haha... I was even still getting ready when the first guests arrived *oopsie heee*

.wow looks like either the luxurious truffle kek lapis or the premium hati parek is sold out fast.

Even with all those things, the day was truly enjoyed and spent merrily altogether with the guests... it was worth the exhaustions having the spread loved by them ❤︎ oh, and my matcha was also very well liked... I even lost count of how many matcha whisked that day haha.

SECOND EID: know-know we're already in Kulai lol

Made a crazy day trip to Johor to visit my paternal Tokwan and also auntie who's staying with her there. Luckily, we cleaned up real quick the night before from the open house and can easily go anywhere next day without worries having to delay cleaning~ ☺︎

.stopped at rnr to get some snacks and luckily got this since we forgot to bring from home.

.roti ice cream early in the morning? no hal.

.feels like eating gado-gado except no veggies for brunch hehe.

Why crazy? Definitely not in plan and last minute...! Also the traffics on our way back made it crazier hahaha from supposedly 2 hours + only turned up to be 6 hours??! 

THE NEXT WEEKEND: jalan-jalan raya to my maternal auntie's nearby our area... is it nearby though? Not so near but still in one state hehe no one else was there only our family but the spread was delish! (๑ᵔ⤙ᵔ๑ 🥢)

I bet you'll agree to and even refill if you're there with me (I didn't refill though, cause I was quite full already and wanted to eat the other snacks as well hehe)... my nieces even got to tapau their favourite crabstick popia (cause their Oma loves to make it, too) as snacks in the car~

THE OTHER NEXT WEEKEND: my other paternal aunt jalan-jalan raya to our house so it's a bit like a mini open house that day but to only cater to her family hehe with a slightly different menu but still with gelato, matcha and coffee available to order ♡ ̆̈

SECOND LAST WEEKEND OF EID: back to my mom's side lol, I just realised we were like alternating between the two families to jalan-jalan raya eh

This weekend, it was an invitation from the family of mom's youngest sister... then again, the same faces met but we still enjoyed the time! The ikan bilis was such a scene-stealer of the day! Tastes like the ikan strip snack (iykyk) that has sambal added on... after I was done with the mains and even desserts, then came roti jala which I usually favours but I was full hence goodbye my roti jala hahaha ( •̯́ ₃ •̯̀)

LAST WEEKEND OF EID: to my maternal uncle's open house... if my family is the starter, the house of my uncle is usually the ending and closing of it~ and now the highlighted dish of this weekend was the pani puri~ don't forget to make it a bit banjir ok pipol... and also I mixed both the mint and sour sauce together so it's such a bomb! ✌︎㋡

Did you guys noticed anything? There's always a highlight dish from each house, right? hehe that's what makes it fun, too, I supposed even with same faces (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟMy bad for the late post but hey it's raya today (even though it's Adha not Fitr hehe and and I first drafted this a month ago! Like what?). Waitttt a minute, just realised one sounds like a boy's name and the other like a girl's... lol ok, I'll stop here before I got even sillier...
