Happy 1.1

Hello guys~ we're finally meeting in a new year. This month has been full: full of surprises, works, learnings and relaxing days.

The main highlight of this month was the king's birthday. Nahh that's too cliche to be called like it. Let's just name it a less cliche one: my dad's day who loves to take pics of us eating!* hehe. Every year, no one in the world, I believe, ever failed to celebrate his day with fireworks cause it falls on the 1st day of the year~

As we don't know what else to give him as a present this year, we thought that we should just make it a memorable one without having to spend it at something else that's not worthy. I meant, he's someone who can just get anything he wants AND that he basically has them all till we always had a problem every year to think what else to get him. xD So, for this new decade we started it off with having a birthday picnic together at the beach~ It was hard to make him be there, too haha *funny stories happened. 

We bought him shirts and asked him to wear and mom helped us by saying that we 'honestly' booked an appointment with a photographer to just have a photoshoot at the beach to commemorate the day but he still didn't take it seriously. lol.

Oh, we actually stayed at Lexis hibiscus for 4 days cause he wanted to chill and relax so lucky us that we're already near to the beach~ didn't really take many photos because we've been there before so you'll only see my OOTDs and what I had in my tummy during the stay (not all tho)~

Psst: we were supposed to ride the cruise but the weather didn't give us a chance at all. Tried it for two days but both days gave us false hope. I guess we shall try it next time? But urghhh the hotel wasn't as nice as it was previously so it made us doesn't wanna stay there anymore except for its food that is undeniably nice every time we were there.

Then, we went to KT last lunar new year~ went to get some seafood, popis and visited granny at Kelantan, too. Oh, don't get me started with Tasik Kenyir. She's just such a disappointment. With no ticket counter to ride the boats and some people's behaviours, that's just bad. Random photos ahead~

.roti paung: finally found the one that is close to what my parents had during their childhood time which is yummeh and not super duper oily with the cheap margarine others used.

.yes, I know I'm wearing a black mask but hey this mask isn't the cool mask, it really protects too from pollen, dust AND bacteria cause it's made of charcoal.

After all those food hunting, then we were stuck in a jam at the highway just right before the Gombak Toll. haha. It usually took us just minutes to reach KL from that point but it made us spent the time there for hours! Made a pit stop at KLCC for dinner.

Anddd it's 2302 now. Shall hit the bed now cause who knows I might need to be up early tomorrow for some more adventures?
